Nice to meet you 2017
FLYING SOLO As the new year welcomes us, I am more than happy to say that this year I have my mind set on what I had always planned on doing ... & that is simply, work hard & play harder! When your circumstances force you out of relationships / friendships there's nothing more to do than to focus on yourself & your priorities ; for me , Church (read my other blog for more on me & church http://lydiarees11.blogspot.com.au/2015/02/transitions.html?m=1 ), my family, my career & last but definitely never the least ME! I am not going to lie when I say its going to be scary , but I know it will all be worth it. I took myself on some adventures and stepped far outside of my comfort zone and my oh my, am I happy that I did. The more you stray from what we consider as "comfortable", the more we allow ourselves to understand the things going on around us. SAMOA - where the mosquitos bite, and the sun bites harder I really did mean it
